The RF Data Modem consists of two independent channels to interface with HF and V/UHF radio sets. The modem communicates with Host PC on a common cPCI/Ethernet/RS232 interfaces. The software supports Windows and Linux Operating Systems. Each channel supports coded data rates of 3200, 4800, 6400, 8000 and 9600bps and uncoded 12800bps with reference to MIL-STD-188-110B, Appendix C standard. The RDM-2(A) Card would exchange data with Tactical Data Link application which facilitates exchange of tactical & messaging data among ships, aircrafts, submarines and shore stations.
