V. Kumaraswamy has over 30 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Strategy, Financial Services, Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions. He is a Management Graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and an ICWA professional.
He is the CFO at JK Paper and a Director with some JK Group companies. He has been instrumental in strategic tie-ups, JVs and M&A within the Group.
Prior to JK, he has worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Voltas, Ciba-Geigy, ITC Group and Lalbhai Group and handled various areas of financial / banking and strategy matters. He has authored books on Corporate Insurance and Risk Management. He has published over 40 articles in various economy dailies of India and on matters of reforms, fiscal policies, budget matters and trade policies.
Dr. M. R. Sheshadri is the Director of Deepti Electronics and Electro Optics Ltd. He founded the company in 2000.He has overseen its growth since then. Dr. Sheshadri obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1981 in Electro Optics. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Physics from Bangalore University.
He was a Senior Scientist in the Aeronautical Development Establishment, a Govt. of India Research and Development Lab, from 1970 to 1993. He has worked extensively in the field of Electro - Optics and has led several projects. From 1993 - 2000 he was a professor in the Visveshwaraya Technological University, where he guided Graduate and Undergraduate students.
Rajesh Kakkar has over 30 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Strategic Planning, and Business Development. He is a Management Graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is a B. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
He is the Chief Executive – Global Strategic Technologies Ltd. which drives JK Group’s initiative in the Aerospace, Defence and Homeland Security space.
He started his career in sales and marketing with Grindwell Norton Ltd. in diverse industrial products like abrasives, refractories and performance materials. His years with ICI India Ltd. included Explosives where he created and fructified a new business opportunity in a ‘commodity’ market.
As Vice President - Strategic Planning & Business Development with the Samtel group, his role included strategic planning, environment scanning and implementation. He drove Samtel’s acquisition of Thales’ CRT unit in Germany, a relatively rare example of an Indian company taking over a high tech company in a developed country and becoming an Indian MNC. He was responsible for the group’s foray into avionics and defense displays. Samtel’s joint venture with the India’s major aircraft maker, HAL marked a new landmark in this business. He formed a joint venture with Thales to expand Samtel’s defense business to the global market.
Ashok Gupta has over 21 years of experience in Finance, Treasury, Accounts, MIS, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Strategies and Restructuring. He is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, New Delhi.
He is the CGM (Finance & Accounts) at JK Paper. His responsibilities encompass arranging funds for JK Group companies, existing & expansion projects, from domestic and international institutions. He was actively involved in bringing out Rights issue and issuance of FCCB in the company. He has also played a key role in restructuring of a BIFR company and arranged funding for growth expansion in that company.
Prior to JK Paper, he has worked with Atul Limited (Lalbhai Group Company) and Micro Inks. He has implemented key strategies to expand the business.
