Image Processing Lead Engineer- Thermal Imager

DELOPT is looking for an Image Processing Lead Engineer- Thermal Imager in the Bangalore and Coimbatore locations.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing image processing algorithms Analytics for Optronics Products
Troubleshooting and diagnosing errors and suggesting suitable repairs or modifications
Collaborating with software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration with the hardware components
Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve assigned project/activity targets within boundaries of Time, Cost and Quality

Qualifications

Experience

5-10+ years of experience in developing Thermal Imager Products

Technical & Process Capabilities

Hands-on experience in Uncooled Microbolometer detector technology, Non-Uniformity correction, Dynamic range compression Image Processing, Interpolation & Extrapolation, Ballistic calculation, Image Rendering, Object detection, Video Tracking, Video Fusion & Stitching techniques
Knowledge of Sighting products like Weapon Sights, Hand Held Sights, Surveillance Camera, Multi-camera Sight
Knowledge of Microcontroller, Micro Processor, DSP, FPGA, Discrete & Analog IO Communication bus, Communication networks, SOC / SOM / ASICs etc.
Communication protocols like HD SDI, PPI, MIPI, SPI, UART, I2C, wifi, Bluetooth, USB, Ethernet
Good understanding of software languages and integration processes.
Assist in performing strategic planning, and technical roadmap development.
Product Certification Standards.
